Presenter

Gareth Mitchell

Former presenter of the BBC World Service tech radio show “Digital Planet”. Graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, guiding him to a wide range of experience from travelling around the world reporting news on tech. Gareth also lectures in broadcast and written journalism at Imperial College, London.

Editor and Producer

Ania Lichtarowicz

Ania is a highly experienced broadcast journalist and former producer of BBC’s Digital Planet. She has worked at the BBC for 25 years in a variety of roles, including Science Producer on the network’s leading news programme Today, Radio 5 Live Science Correspondent and World Service Health Reporter. Ania speaks Polish, English and French.

Angelica Mari is an acclaimed journalist covering tech and innovation for two decades in both Portuguese and English. Her work spans publications like Wired, Forbes, BBC, and more. With a keen interest in the impact of tech initiatives on society, she's a digital behavior expert and holds an MA in Cyberpsychology. Angelica is also a co-founder of Futuros Possíveis, a platform democratizing future-related discussions.

Angelica Mari

Ghislaine, a digital creative pioneer since the 1990s, specializes in future human experiences, virtual presence, and immersive technology. As a University of Greenwich professor and Creative Director of 'body>data>space,' she bridges art, design, and technology. Her expertise includes BBC World Service and UK Government DCMS College of Experts involvement.

Ghislaine Boddington

Peter is a UK-based freelance journalist. He was business editor at WIRED in London, enterprise editor at Rest of World in Singapore and features editor at Nikkei Asia in Tokyo. He has written for Bloomberg Businessweek, The Atlantic, GQ, the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and MIT Technology Review. In 2022, he won a Society of Publishers in Asia Award for technology journalism and a Fetisov Journalism Award for contribution to civil rights. He graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in physics.

Peter Guest

Wairimu Gitahi, a multimedia journalist in Nairobi and Impact & Insights Manager at BFA Global, focuses on fostering inclusivity and resilience for underserved communities. She explores technology's role in climate change solutions and how digital platforms can improve livelihoods through job opportunities. Wairimu is a podcast producer with features on the UN and BBC, notably on BBC World Service programs like Outlook, Health Check, Science in Action, and Digital Planet.
